Understanding Pricing and Volume Discounts
How our postcard pricing works, including volume tiers, VAT, and direct-mail options.
We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Here's everything you need to know about how we price our handwritten postcards.
Base Pricing
Each handwritten postcard starts at €2.95 net (€3.51 incl. 19% VAT) and includes:
- Premium A6 postcard (148mm × 105mm)
- Your personalized handwritten message
- Recipient address handwritten on the card
- Quality inspection before shipping
Volume Discounts
The more cards you send, the more you save. Volume tiers are applied automatically at checkout based on the total quantity in your order:

Tip: If you're close to a tier threshold, adding a few more recipients can unlock a cheaper per-card price.
Shipping
How your cards are delivered affects the final price.
Send to you (default)
We ship the finished batch to your address. Shipping is included in the postcard price — there is no separate shipping line.
Mail direct to recipients
We can dispatch each card individually to its recipient. This adds a per-card fulfillment surcharge:

Optional Add-ons
- Blank envelopes — add one matching blank envelope per card for €0.25 net each when the finished batch is shipped to you.
Blank envelopes are not available when we mail postcards directly to recipients.

Payment Methods
Checkout is processed through Stripe. The exact payment methods shown depend on the customer and region, but the available options are displayed directly in checkout before payment is confirmed.
Practical pricing rule of thumb
If you want a fast estimate:
- Start with €2.95 net per postcard
- Apply the correct quantity tier
- Add €1.30 net per German recipient or €1.55 net per international recipient only if you want us to mail each card directly
- Add €0.25 net per card only if you want loose blank envelopes with a batch shipped to you
